>>15299088>But BEFORE that, there was something worth holding onto. That's true. But that something was not Christianity. You would know this if you had studied ancient Greek philosophy. Christianity was nothing more than a ripoff of Greek philosophies, including Epicureanism. Take, for example, Apollonius of Tyana. Apollonius was a Greek Pythagorian philosopher who lived at the same time as Jesus and was said to have performed very similar miracles to Jesus. He was said to have walked on water and made many prophesies. Of course, you have never heard of Apollonius of Tyana because the entire Western civilization lives inside a bubble; a well-constructed bubble that is designed to promote ignorance in exchange for social order and peace of mind. Christians simply don't want to bother with Apollonius or Epicurus, because then their bubble would burst.
Anyway, if you're interested you might also wanna check out the Deucalion myth, which is almost identical to the biblical story of the flood. Christianity is not original. It was simply imposed on us by emperors who wished to solidify their power and stabilize their empires.
