Well I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to escape things but I'd be worried about too much of it being controlled by companies like disney. See, I think part of the power of this idea is that characters and stories can be developed by a community instead of just one person or group - but isn't that kind of counter-intuitive to the interests of those companies? I hope maybe it will allow them to be more free with their IPs once they realize the power that fans hold and in turn maybe that will start the process to abolish IP altogether. Don't tell yonkers about this tho, he would freak...
