Here in Brazil we have water reservoirs in the attic and sometimes accidents can happen. It happened a few months ago with my neighbor. He was traveling while his neighbor was doing some service on his home. The retard step on a pipe, cracked it and didn't notice it. When the owner came back his whole home was flooded and most forniniture ruined. The house structure was intact, because even though concrete, bricks, grout and mortar can get soaked, they just dry up and remain undamaged. Plus, the only reason the inside of his home got flooded is because he had some wires coming from the ceiling and the holes weren't sealed or elevated at the top.
