Seriously, how is it geeks were able to exposed to it fine for the past 50 years and remain relatively normal escapists but now you can't watch a show about, I don't know, sentient cardboard knights and have a group of people that now identity as trans-cardboard and push out the fans that just want to talk about the cardboard knights?
Maybe I'm an old man yelling at cloud, but these people really suck and I hate that they can't simply enjoy shows for what they are. They are insipid poison that reshape a fandom to be about THEM.
