Use pic rel. We get ants coming around each summer. This product keeps them out and also kills them. Spray the perimeter of your home and anywhere they've previously entered. Sometimes they come in along pipes like under the sink. Track them down, poison their pathways, and your perimeter. Bye bye ants.
We only have to do this once a year. I like to do it before they invade but my wife doesn't give a fuck until they're inside.
