i wanted the ability to make my own tools, it took maybe 250$ of investment to get a forge, anvil and tools including 6 hammers.
now it's deciding what i want to make and making it, getting more experience beyond watching yt videos about it.
in 20 years or something, i will have this to mark my progress against.
