>>13411708>I mean that in the sense that it was easy to verify their ancestry, they weren't simply "anglo" as they're categorised today.depending on where you live, and wether your ancestors moved or not, their race will be different, but it's not really important either way
>>13411711yeah it's great, unironically, without GR15 ponies would probably be posted more often than wojacks and pepes combined here, it was hugely popular on 4chan when it came out (that's where it all started)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB2TwFjvxeMthe fandom is mostly very far right with a few far left, extremely polarized and mostly /pol/tier, the audience is basically 99% white people between the age of 13 and 30
you kinda have to power through the first few episodes but then you'll get hooked
http://www.newlunarrepublic.fr/episodesthey all do...
>>13411713>Not the same. For starters, Aragorn and Arwen are canon, secondly, Aragorncan elves and men interbreed?
also are hobbits racemixed men+dwarves?
with the run time of the hobbit, they should have focussed on the lore during that period
they kinda did with the council with elrond, galadriel gandalf the drugged wizard and saruman, but that's about it
even if it wasn't in the book imo they should have done more stuff/shown more stuff to explain what was the state of the world during the hobbit period
> Elros and Elrond are half elves themselves.wait ELROND? can half elves be that powerful? isn't he one of the most op elves?
>>13411714>This is the one thing that's never made sense to me either honestly. How Sauron was so easily defeated in the Second Age.yeah we agree, this is my gripe
>Like, his invasion somehow ended with a 7 year siege of Mordor by the alliance, which doesn't make sense to me considering he had the ring and had power over them and all that. yep
>Nah that was a king of Gondor. The bloodline of kings is very important to LOTR, ya feel me?how so, they get plot armor? lol
