You place it against the rune that was hot to touch and wait a minute, holding the cloth in place as it heats up. When finished, the cloth now has an exact imprint of the rune melted onto it (Add: Hot Ice Rune Pattern) This method fails to work on the second type of rune, which is if anything somewhat colder to touch than the rest of the ice. "Ouch..." Gotta look around some more... maybe this tower has a medicine room?
