I just want a girlfriend, dude. I kinda jumped the gun and got this cute girl at work that I'm friendly with flowers and a teddy bear yesterday. I thought she might finally be the one. She was so excited and appreciative at first, then less than ten minutes asked me if this was just a gift between friends. I told her that I thought she was a cool person an wanted to get to know her better, which she immediately responded with "this is just a gift between friends, nothing more than that". Full stop, as a sentence, not a question. I laughed it off and didn't respond, then walked away. This is the 5th time I've been rejected in over 10 years, I'm fucking 32 and still can't attract girls. I lift, keep myself well groomed. What fucking gives? How am I supposed to start a family if I can't even get a girl? I'm too old for this.
Girl was 19 btw, and I'm a 5'5 manlet, pretty sure I'm fucked no matter what I do dating wise. But she laughed at all my jokes, and makes these really cute gestures as she speaks. The fuck am I doing wrong? Am I defective?
