In Mazdaism, Ahuramazda has two children that are the spawn of his thought. One is Ormazd who is of light and righteousness, one is Ahriman who is of darkness and responsible for the evils in this world, creates evil creatures, etc. In Tolkien lore Eru has 14 children who are the spawn of his thought, 13 are good and 1 is evil but as powerful as the rest of them combined, so still a 50/50 balance. He breaks up the rest of the gods to show their nature better, which is what European religions attempt to do as well. But Tolkien describes it better with Manwe literally being the sky, Ulmo literally being the ocean and rain, Aule being all the dirt and metals, etc. European gods almost seem to be written that way after the fact, or perhaps reformed that way. Even Mazdaism was reformed by Zarathustra/Zoroaster to better reflect an idea. I think Iluvatarism (Tolkien's religion described in the Silmarilion) best reflects an idea of how this universe was created and operates, it combines several aspects of old Aryan religions in a great way that teaches us many lessons. It certainly isn't kikestian, Gandalf is a Mithras character not a Jesus character. Jesus was ripped off from Mithras.
