As was already mentioned, John Forbes Kerry was a member of Skull and Bones. However, what's not necessarily known is that his brother Cameron Forbes Kerry is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. The Forbes family is one of the Boston Brahmin elite bloodline families of early American history. John Murray Forbes of this bloodline made part of his fortune from the Canton opium trade. He was also the president of the Michigan Central Railroad and director and president of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad.
