i've been to 19th century schools. they were all tiny houses (the turks didn't let us build big buildings) and had kids from multiple grades in the same room. the lowest grade kids were in the back and they had a desktop full of sand where they could write things with their finger in the sand. i wish i was a shit eating dirt farmer in the 19th century desu
