>>135456402 years sober. Started going to AA after I quit. Didn't do 90/90. I didn't really need it but it was good to be around other people consitently while dealing with other shit in my life. There's a lot of cringe and some meetings are shit but there's good groups out there and a lot of selfless people. I can see how some people need it to stay sober and it can help turn their lives around. But me, I still fuck with the bar scene for music and pool and I'm around alcohol all the time and don't feel tempted to drink. Guys at AA can't walk down the beer aisle in the grocery store without breaking down and going on a bender.
