>>16984752>Homemade MeadIt is easy to make, cheap, and provides a wide range of variability depending on how much you want to experiment or play with different approaches and techniques. Wanna just make 10-20 gallons to drink in a few months? DONE. Wanna spend months making artisanal masterpieces? DONE.
First batch I ever made was on a whim with a year old growler I found in my basement, honey from the back of my cupboard, a balloon with a hole poked in it to release pressure during fermentation, and homemade yeast from crushed apples (gotta do organic since pesticides/over washing/coating can kill the wild yeast)
If you have $100 and countertop space, just do it. You will not regret it.
