in reality, life can be so utterly terrible, so unimaginably horrific, and so frequently is, that it is the responsibility of everyone who recognizes this to simultaneously acknowledge that life is an absurd force which brings far more pain than pleasure, and try to make it, at the very least, not terrible for anyone that they can. To willfully not do this is being complicit in the state of things and the state of things is very very very sad.
Recognize how much power you have to affect the world. You probably dont use it much. You're satisfied with the results of your current, minute level effort. The vast majority of people do the same. So those who do use there power are unchallenged. Frequently those who do are motivated by things that dont resemble moral good, or even neutral at all. Every NEET in the world would let the gulag happen again or end up in it.
