The second concept of the real sunrise being overshadowed by an impossible bigger light from the west would be КИHO because it would be about seeing the familiar comfort of dawn be overcome by something otherworldly and inexplicable, yet still bringing salvation. Mysterious... And the impossibility of witnessing something akin to the sun rise from the wrong direction could make for striking image and such, especially if it signifies some monumental change or revelation for the character. But my fear is that having two lights at once from both directions could dilute whatever message you're trying to send, like it would be more impactful if the scene was complete darkness before the light
