Believe me when I say to you that if you counted every grain of sand in that ramp, or every gentile that died to build it and every arrow that fell upon them from the walls as they built it would only be but a tiny fraction of the hatred God has for the them. The same God the father that moved the hearts of pagan emperors and made them his servants did this. The footprint of the Holy Spirit is on that ramp.
God hates them so much that not only did he move empires to destroy them, but also in the end he will bring them back to life just so they can die once more forever. How heavy are their sins that the most merciful god, who sent them prophet after prophet would do such a thing?
