>>10113809Because when I suspected that a 'nonessential' worker lockout was coming to the university I work for, I took it as an excuse to leave early to attend a family wedding in my hometown. As I was making the drive there I got the email that we'd been locked out of our building and police were turning people away from campus. I could return to my apartment, but I feel like my family needs me here at the moment. I loaded my car down with dry food, fuel, water treatment, ammo, and PPE I bought up before and during the superbowl to give them a fighting chance when I drove out. I'm also their main man power in getting garden plots tilled and running. I'm also in a small town, compared to spitting distance from Denver.
