Pic related, a surprisingly good Vietnamese beer. It's no delicacy, but it's very good. This is bottled in my town. Not sure if that makes a difference in freshness, but it's definitely fun to drink a block away from whence it came.
The best thing about Vietnamese food is the variety. Korean food all seems to have a similar "spicy fresh" sort of taste, which I like, but in Vietnam every single town has a unique dish or ingredient they use that changes the way they cook everything else.
