>>12316101hmm.. i'll cautiously say this is actually interesting. i actually saw a video that mentioned accents differentiating otherwise indistinguishable words, but he didn't mention the noun/verb pattern which i don't completely trust off the back of a instagram post.
another fun fact though is that a lot of these only work in isolation. not all of them, but in most accents the word "permit" for example sounds borderline identical as a verb and a noun only if it's being used in a sentence
