There are geniuses who were antagonized a lot by their peers so they didn't get much praise in life, but I would say they are the minority. Van Gogh is an example of a genius who was unrecognized in life, Einstein an example of a genius who was immediately accepted by normies as some sor of nerd superhero. Are there more Van Goghs or Einsteins? Probably most geniuses are in the middle of both extremes, but I would lean on the Einstein side.
