As usual with games from the Professor Layton series, this game has amazing and ingenious puzzles, way more clever than any other puzzle game I have ever seen (and I have played quite a lot of them) and there were a few of them that I simply couldn't figure it out even with all the hints, I solved some puzzles by pure luck.
The plot is fun and not hard to follow, the twist is a little farfetched but it's not a big deal at least for me, it was still kinda clever and I enjoyed.
The art and music are superb and I'd enjoy a Layton anime if there was one, such a relaxing game to just watch.
All in all, great game and anyone that likes very, very clever puzzles should play any game of this series (starting with the first one is always a good idea since it will make it easier to understand the story, but it is not vital to play previous games)
