I don't remember the exact words, but it was something like, every other board is filled with politics, stormfront shit, race baiting, tranny shit, or literally any other forced spam to make people mad. And those always make people mad. But when they happened on /qa/ people could joke about them. Not just laugh at someone for having the wrong opinion, but actually joke about the topic to deactivate any drama and just keep having fun.
The day I read that post was the day I knew that it was just a matter of time before /qa/ was deleted. You're not allowed to have fun, you're supposed to be always mad. It's not a surprise that we were relocated to a board that several times a day gets flooded with garbage threads imported from /pol/, it's not a surprise that every thread that tries to keep the spirit of /qa/ alive is deleted on sight.
