They also dick about in the Himalayas (which is a barren wasteland not fit for human habitation) to distract you guys so you divert more resources to your land forces instead of your navy, which would actually be threat to chinas shipping (and therefor china itself) than fighting a land war over the massive natural barrier that is the Himalayas.

But I guess since they are a more authoritarian gov they have been able to focus on this security issue with a lot more vigor than India when it comes to building local infrastructure or local investments to prove the righteousness of their actions back at home.
