>>22244206She is a lovely lady. Her intentions were to keep them out of circulation so that nobody else could read the words, though. Everything is rose colored to her and I love her for that. Her mother, my wifes grandmother, gave me the first penny she ever found as a child. I think its from 1913 or something. The grandmother just turned 97 and is as sharp as a tack. I enjoy showing her the silver dollars I have acquired over the years. The grandmother gifted me a few different year nickels. One from I believe 1935 is in MINT condition. Graded it could be worth close to 40-50 loonies which is crazy to me, for a nickel. I prefer to stack in bulk but the little gems handed down to me from my wifes side of the family are precious and will never be sold. As a canuck I prefer stacking peace and morgan dollars, but the design of ours are nice too! 1967 confederation centennial has a nice goose on it and is the last year they were 80%. You can find some dollars with single water lines which get missed by collectors and make them worth a few bucks more.
