Anime is a shit genre. Code geass sucks almost as much as steins gate is almost as pretentious and predictable as death note, they all rely on shitty tropes and are just bad. Your nostalgia for watching cartoons is so prevelant that you allow it to warp your ability to recognize when an entire show has been sculpted carfully to inspire feelings of wholeness that you otherwise lack.
