I was married for 7 years, and man was it shitty. Life stopped. I had a wife, a house, a mortgage and a career. Then I realized I'm stuck here. My wife got fat and ugly, I hated mowing the lawn every single weekend, and mostly I saw my life rapidly vanishing so my wife could have a fence and a dog and share recipes with my boring stupid neighbors. It's literally hell. You're just done. Life over. Groceries, bills, a fuck now and then, job, holidays, repeat. It's death to any man with a shred of ambition. I strongly advice you do something with your life and forget the ball and chain route. It's very, very mediocre and depressing.
