>>9499130>Why aren't you prepping? The rice and other foods are good when you are healthy during the spread thru your community. After you get sick and are fighting it off, you might switch to bland foods so as not to irritate your mucus membranes in your lungs which are already struggling due to the disease. More mucus is not desirable when you have congestion.
If you're sick, easily digestible foods with electrolytes (non-distilled water) to provide energy to the body is what you need. But a big 25 pound bag of rice is a good start if public contact is to be limited. I have four 25 pound bags stored in those large plastic containers to stop bugs and mice from getting to it in the garage along with two gorilla shelves of gallon water jugs. Inside the house is a stash similar to OP's. None of the food will be wasted as I cycle through it and replace as needed.
Remember, you don't want foods that cause more mucus secretion. Your lungs have enough problems and spices that stimulate mucus secretion are undesirable.
