Jesus was already here for 1000 years. The "Dark Ages" is so named because we have so little information about this period.
Imagine that you are Satan. Your enemy just ruled over the most prosperous and peaceful period in history. Now, you are released and your goal is to decieve the world into waging war against the remaining Christians. What do you do? You remove all evidence. You scrub history. You throw people who will not deny Jesus into mental asylums for "religious fanaticism." You would redirect the Bible and Christianity to serve your children. You would make up false stories about the natural wonders of the earth, denying the reality of melted stone buildings, giant trees, and the flood.
But do not fear. This little season is almost over, and the enemy will be consumed by flames from heaven.
