however, it seems to me even the beginning of the trajectory is not normal rocket behaviour:
the graph shows angle vs. time, and is approximately the shape of a parabola, i.e. CONSTANT acceleration...
compare that to a trajectory of other rockets, where the acceleration is steadily increasing, see pic: the middle graph shows the speed to be a parabola
