Anyway at current (friday) bitcoin value, MSTR falls within its 'thesis' of being roughly 2x leverage on bitcoin. Previously overvalued at 480, then gapping up to 524 on thursday in premarket before bears dumped it. The movements of MSTR give themselves over to swinging, in theory you could have made 20% more selling it in premarket on thursday than holding it as it is a stock and bulls pursue it beyond the NAV. This week the reason for the pump, similar to the nearly 50% pump from 193 to 270 in the same period as october, is because a market maker had a call on MSTR 400 eow and this caused bulls to push the price higher. When bitcoin moved from 87k to 99k this caused the price to appreciate further, but it was way beyond the 'fair' value in regards to leverage as it traveled from the low of 319 to a high of 524, before coming back down to 434.
