>>12093139>>12093149>>12093151I have personally dealt with this problem and solved it myself. These people ARE trainable and it does not require much discussion, just a little effort on your part.
Step 1: Buy a bus pan(s) (pic related)
Step 2: Move the dirty dishes into the bus pan and place it somewhere near the sink but not too close to it because it's going to grow mold/bacteria and you don't want to have to smell that shit.
Step 3: If they ask what's going on, tell them that you're going to be putting dirty dishes that pile up into the bus pan from now on. Ignore any complaints or threats and just do it.
Step 4: Hold the line. They may be stubborn and let the dishes stay there. If they get too moldy and unsanitary just throw them out and start using disposable cutlery/dishes until the war has ended.
They will concede eventually and start keeping the sink area clean eventually.
It's training and it's a war against hard headed stubborn people but it can be won.
