I honestly don't see it that way, most married gen x-ers are pitiful creatures, unhappy with marriage, either divorced or on the verge of it, my mum and pops aren't happy, I kinda wish they just divorced and got through with it, one of my neighbours constantly beats his wife, another one of my neighbours has a kid whose fatherhood is kept a secret as the neughbour has two other kids with his wife

another one of my friends had great friends until she started dating relatively resoectable guy
like in total I know one person that has normal parents that don't live the stockholm syndrome and the kid isn't being blindfully ignorrant to the possible fact
