She grins slightly. Much like at the mansion, this is going quite well. And in truth, Priscilla is enjoying her current company.
But then the topic of Nikki comes up. Priscilla takes a long sip of her champagne. Even before Sola came into the picture, Priscilla knew Nikki would be a problem eventually. Carmody’s attack on her suggested an issue between the two that ensured that. It was the reason she never offered Nikki a Divine Touch contract.
But with Sola, the matter deepens due to the long history they share. And now it seems that history between Nikki and Sola is what caused Carmody’s attack to begin with. That makes sense given the connection between the two. But it also shows that Carmody has it in her to go after someone, no matter who it is, on behalf of those she cares about. Priscilla’s grins deepens. Good. That could surely be honed into something more dangerous than a rash attack.
>You’re perfectly within your rights to harbor ill feelings toward someone who attacked you in the way Nikki did, Sola. In fact, it would be concerning if you didn’t. And the same goes for you Carmody, it’s right to dislike someone who wronged a person you care about. It’s normal to want revenge.>But it’s true, Carmody. Nikki is important to me. But before she was important to me, she was a bitter enemy. My very first in this company. And back then, I certainly never imagined she’d one day be part of what I’d build with the Divine Angels.>That’s how I learned that sometimes your greatest enemy can become your greatest ally. Sola, you mentioned wanting to work things out personally with Sapphire. Perhaps the next time you visit the mansion you can, and maybe you can both work things out with Nikki too
