Basically, can a computer only be "invented" once? Or does every new processing architecture count as an invention in its own right?
It reminds me a bit of the debate over who "invented" the airplane. Or those nigger inventors who got a patent for an improved design of an existing invention and now claim to be the one who "invented" it.
