If you could spend even just a few seconds using a search engine in fucking 2017 to figure out why water "tastes bad in the microwave" maybe you wouldn't be getting so butthurt in the first place.
The reason tea tastes better in a kettle is because the kettle is designed to bring water evenly to a rolling boil, which therefore is better for the tea steeping process. When you heat water in a microwave, the waves are shot into the water in random pockets, making them vibrate unevenly, which leads to a misleading boil even though the entire cup of water isn't at 100C. The water itself is not different in any way just because it is in a kettle, except for maybe cast iron ones because iron can influence the taste. This is extra extra true for electric kettles, because there isn't anything influencing the actual water taste at all, so it is the same as microwaved water.
tl;dr its the tea steep not the water you fucking dumbasses
