I'm waterlocked on Hawaii and I'm pretty sure a duffel bag full of silver or even a fanny pack of gold might be a bit conspicuous if I'm trying to get out of here before the 1/64th pure blooded noble Hawaiians begin breaking my clawing my door down for being a haole.
Not too sure about diamonds though. I'm not sure if developing economies like india or china are really buying them enough to bump the price up. Plus there's the whole synthetic debacle to worry about. Things are just shitty all around for plebes like me who don't want to get assraped by the banks i guess.
