>>10396962I wouldn't do it in a real life environment where you can see your opponent but online card games have little to no interaction between each player so it detaches you from your opponent and reduces the guilt you might feel by destroying them in such a way; at least that was my experience when I played Hearthstone
You could call it sadistic but ultimately it's just a different playstyle
If they didn't want to suffer, they wouldn't have picked a card game
