Well, they also tried to use a heart monitoring machine (that also failed). But before that I think they also equated the anxiety to possible hormone issues (adrenaline something somwthjng, I don't remember for sure, I was a smol baka who just wanted to get out of le scawwy hospital as fast as possible).
