It's actually thought that blue eyed people are descended from snowy environments where all most of them did is struggle to keep warm all day and worry about dinner. They didn't have much time to do any critical thinking or inventing so they never grew their brains in that way and never passed down those traits to their children. It's pretty much why there is a stereotype for the dumb blonde.
