Thanks for the state of California It’s actually illegal to have an CR less than 80 but Chinese knock off lightbulbs from Amazon or whatever are often far less, they are truly horrendous.
The perfect colour rendering index of 100 is defined as the light given off by an incandescent or halogen bulb.
