it was a very cool game with lots of interesting trading and stuff involved. for example you could make a lot of money farming but crops would take several hours to grow and could be picked by anyone, so you had to try your best to find little hidey holes to grow your stuff in if you didn't want it stolen
there was also a lot of money to be made buying trade goods on one continent and selling them on the other, but that's because the ocean is a free for all pvp zone that you need to buy your own boat to even try and cross. that also lead to large guilds making lots of money by escorting people trying to make trade runs
the combat was also pretty good as i remember, but that was a long time ago
very cool stuff
unfortunately the game became horribly and blatantly p2w so nobody plays it anymore. that's what the announcement was about, they're rereleasing a new version of the game with a monetization scheme that isn't awful
