I have three Shiba Inus. These dogs are notoriously difficult to train. They test every boundary and will keep testing it unless you are consistent with punishment. You have to be the alpha with dogs, in such a way that you cannot be challenged. Dogs keep each other in line exceptionally well once there is an established order and the leadership at the top is unquestionable.
It’s the people that treat them like kids that end up with shitty dogs. A lot of behavior is breed dependent, but all dogs are first and foremost pack animals.
