>>22491743Roman Catholics also have said the Orthodox have valid Sacraments in Vatican II. They don't say we're wrong. Even the filioque, which is one of the primary dividing issues, is not a stickler for Roman Catholics - their Uniate branch, so-called "Eastern Rite Catholicism" say the Nicene Creed without the filioque.
>i.e. the correct and original, orthodox way.Catholics don't know what they believe, it's such a labyrinthine structure without a head. Because the Head of the Church is Christ, and Christ has only one Body, one Church. This kind of chaos of core doctrines in faith is nowhere found in Holy Orthodoxy.
But these are all modern observations and comments. Like I said before, it's plain history that the Roman Pope left communion with the other 4 Patriarchs of the Church, departed from the faith in very specific ways, innovations not universally practice or agreed upon beforehand, and at a specific time. It's not a matter of debate how things went down. One party can be dishonest about it, but to the objective observer, the truth is objective.
