>>459333106>And we don't know anything about the local environment in which these things formed. Not an excuse or an argument. We know information-carrying molecules are ridiculously fragile. There is no reason to ever think they could survive outside laboratory conditions for a day, even minutes, under any natural conditions
If science doesn't provide evidence of something the default is skepticism too. Funny how that "standard" only applies when you deny God because you feel there is no evidence.
>The conditions necessary to form these self replicators would also likely be favorable for their continued existence.WHAT?!?!?!?!
Where does this claim come from???
What evidence do you have?
That is an incredibly specific claim. You must back it up.
Delicate information-carrying molecule "continued existence" is not favorable in any condition except inside a highly complex cell that already exists. It's a mini fortress protecting it that is more complicated than any human can fathom. Even a virus will die in minutes or seconds outside of the carefully pH balanced biological fluid of its host, and they can't even reproduce by themselves despite being quite complex.
You need to provide evidence to the contrary.
