I don't think it's impossible to get out of this reality, but I do think we keep rebooting here until we learn whatever it is we're supposed to learn. I do think that the thing controlling this reality is the Demiurge and it feeds on the negative energy created by our suffering. I don't think that it's the highest god though. I think the ultimate highest God is good but this other Demiurge entity has trapped us in this fucked up inverted reality. I could be wrong though. I'm just speculating based on my own research.
