There are at least four players here I can think of which prevent true progress;
- the scare to be to be ridiculed as scientist by the fellow community
- the simple mindset of the common folk hating change
- THINK ABOUT THE ETHICSPAGHETTIOS
- the world governments in general, if it doesn't fit the current Zeitgeist, or whatever this means, it doesn't belong to anyone
