I don't like cirno but I recognize that all of these threads in the catalog are currently the only thing keeping /bant/ from becoming /int/ 2.0, /r9k/ 2.0, and /pol/ 2.0. This board has none of the drawfags and old OC creators left, so without the 30 cirno threads confusing the underage /r9k/ attention whores and /pol/ddit amerimutts LARPing as neo-nazis and retarded /int/fags segmenting the board into 50+ generals that serve as glorified country chatrooms, it would be really easy for some dedicated faggots from these boards to just assert themselves and stay here.
The real problem right now is literally that all of the original drawfags and original content creators are gone. This has nothing to do with the cirnoposters since early /bant/ had tons of OC and cirnoposting at the same time that overlapped. It just had to do with the fact you can only make so much OC until it starts to become boring and the artists get burnt out, especially if you're just creating OC for the sake of OC rather than stuff you enjoy or OC that's situational. Cirnoposting only stayed while other /bant/ memes died because cirno's been a GET icon for over a decade andalready has tons of OC because it's a 2hu.
The real problem are the gayposters and spill-over from imptrash.
