>>11309343I'm an atheist because I'm free, and I don't have to live life according to some stupid book because I have faith in myself and don't have to depend on a higher thinking because I think broadly and I am not afraid to think that religion has killed people and I'm not scared of death or hell or going to heaven. The Crusades kill a lot of people. Oh and I'm sicked of people tell me I'm going to be eternally damned for believing in sky daddies man at least if it's hell it's just a really hot place of gnashing teeth or some shit.
I use religion as a litmus test for morons. Seriously, it's so painfully obvious that there is no god and that religion is made to control the masses and all roads of life inevitably lead to this conclusion if I follow it far enough; as they say, "the road to bigotry is paved with good intentions". Religion will only stay around for 100 more years before we could easily identify all the idiots who haven't been folded out of the gene pool yet.
Seriously, why do weaklings feel the need to believe in God when they can just believe in Richard Dawkins and the Four Horsemen, who has actual evidence to back up their claims? And the scientific method of course, which just works. A reminder that religious people are silly because only the unintelligent and weak-minded need imaginary friends to keep them company. It's not like I've done it, honestly, so cringe.
Us atheists will one day be remembered as pioneers of an intellectual and political renaissance, and our posts on Reddit will be read like Scripture; but unlike Christian scripture, we talk about things that actually happened. We are the dawn of a new age, the new age of the intellectual erudite atheist elite, destroying the pathetic sheeple culture. This is the face of atheism. Our razor-sharp tongues are mightier than the sword.
You can't stop us, no matter how hard you try.
