i agree although i expect that since imposter entities be it gods or loved ones wont be enough to lure us into the light (assuming we arent forced into it automatically), we'll be tortured some other way
the possibilities i've scoped out are:
being stuck here as a spirit, assuming there's a soul net above us to keep us from leaving
hell cities like jean delac that robert monroe went to apparently
a "life review" judgement room where youll be gaslit, and i'm guessing forced regardless of your decision since you're already in their domain
or, i don't know. maybe upon death you will have the ability to immediately create a portal somewhere outside of this whole matrix.

idk how any of this works but what i've surmised is that once you die it's going to be a fucking fight to not be forced back here with your memory wiped.
